Looking to vinyl my roof?

My biggest worry would be covering the roof may make the paint fade unevenly. So when you remove the vinyl, the paint may look faded compared to the rest of

My biggest worry would be covering the roof may make the paint fade unevenly. So when you remove the vinyl, the paint may look faded compared to the rest of the car due to uneven sun exposure and not being able to keep up with maintenence of your paint/ckear on the roof?

I'm not sure that would happen? But that would be my main concern.
