Default Gonna order my 370z today. few questions

i've been going to hoops trying to find a sport 370 in Canada and the only thing available is silver coming in July.

Therefore i have to wait, but silver was not my first choice, and i don't want to buy another car just because i don't want to wait.

so now i'm asking you guys, was the car worth the wait?

Apparently if i order now, i'll receive around September, that gives me 2 months of decent weather driving, then put the winters on and

But is waiting worth it? i'll be ordering either black on persimon or white on persimon with sport/navi. 6spd.

let me know. and when do the 2010's come out?

I'm guessing end if year/early next year for '10's.
I doubt it will come out in Aug-Sept '09.

There's a demo on ile perout. They are really expensive. Only 1k off a Z that that had 1400km. I asked for at least 1k off invoice. No reply....ha....... It's been on sale for like 1.5 months.

Which dealership are you planning to deal with??

Oh yea. Search Canadian Invoice in the search bar here.

That's gonna help you a bit.

The thread you're looking is by python. I dunno..... His name for sure. It's something like that.

I bought a 2005 350Z in silverstone because I could not find a black one in my area. I regretted not ordering a black one until the day I bought - and insisted on black - my 370Z. I was willing to order a black 370Z and wait, but they found one in black in my area. I am not a patient person when it comes to cars, but I am getting better.

I say its worth the wait, it will be a tough before it comes in but after that you will be forever happy you got exactly what you wanted.

Good Luck!!

I had emailed Nissan directly in regards to the changeover date for 09/10 production. Here is part of their reply.....

Thank you for taking the time to personally contact us about our Nissan products.

The 2010 Nissan 370Z has a tentative wholesale release date of November 13, 2009, however this date is subject to change. Also Nissan has not released additional information regarding this vehicle but would recommend you visit Nissan/Infiniti News Room for the most up-to-date product information. Also the sales department at your local dealership is the best place to get information related to special ordering a Nissan vehicle.* You can locate your nearest dealership using our Dealer Locator: Nissan Dealers, Locate a Nissan Dealership - Nissan USA.

Before you visit your nearest Nissan dealer, get your pre-approval confirmation on-line: Nissan Buying - Pre-Approval - Application. It's the easiest way to purchase your new Nissan.

Recent college grads may qualify for a special finance rate through NMAC’s (SignatureGRADUATE) program! Those shopping for a Sentra, Altima, Xterra, Pathfinder, or Frontier may also be eligible for $500 grad cash. For details, go to NissanUSA.com/collegegrad.

If you need any additional information or have further questions after visiting your local Nissan dealership, please let us know by reply e-mail or by calling 1-800-647-7263 and pressing "0" for a live operator.

Thank you for taking the time to personally contact us with your question.

At Nissan, we are committed to a high level of customer service.

Sincerely,

Nissan North America

It was definitely worth the wait. The color choices in Canada are very limited and white on persimmon is not one of them.

Purchasing one out of the US is an option. The dollar is doing pretty good right now so it may actually be fairly close. I have been told by a Nissan Dealership that the Nissan warranty is good in Canada/US/Mexico.

Have you searched on the Nissan Canada web page? Had the dealer try to find one in Eastern Canada?

Wait to get the car you want. This is a fantastic car and what's worse than regretting a $50k purchase? You may be able to track down the car you want to get - if not I would find out if the Nismo version is going to be available in Canada for 2010 - I doubt it but its worth inquiring about. IIRC 2010 is the 40 year anniversary so there may be a limited edition version available as well.....

Very true. I have family in the States so that is the first thing I tried. Gotta be 6 months. The persimmon comes in the carbon silver, black and airstream.
