You can mod just about anything so long as you return it to stock, undamaged. Now if you are having the car serviced by the dealership you bought it from they might take note of your mods and this may or may not be an issue.

+1...... I probably wouldn't mod b/c it wouldn't be worth it not unless you are going to get another Z, or buy the one you have. In 3yrs there will be a whole new platform for the Z. If you bought the car, then that would be a different story. So I would not mod & just leave the Z stock.

Even though i ended up with the base model not even sport package im still so thankful, Its so freaking fun to drive. Im so tempted for an exhaust or something because its so quiet. Also the speakers are already blown? Can i at least upgrade the sound. |

The speakers aren't blown, they just suck!
On a lease I'd only be willing to mod stuff that can easily be reversed. So if you think you can do the stereo and easily return it to stock without damage, then I think that would be OK. Same with basic bolt ons.

ok sweet, im searching like crazy on mods. What mods do people usually do first? Intake first or Exhaust. I was thinking of STillen Gen 3 intake and the Fast Intentions Catback?

Most people do the exhaust first for sound.

Most mods are pretty easy to put back... exhaust, intake, wheels come to mind. Stereo is fine too and should be easy to swap back.
IMO if you are only talking 3 years I would look for used parts that have already had the initial depreciation taken out of them so that you don't get hammered hard when you remove them all and try to sell them. |

Good advice from Matt there. Used parts would save you a lot.

Bolt on's, and cosmetic mods. Nothing permanent.

3 years is a decent amount of time to have the mods, most people get bored by then and switch it up anyways... regardless what they say in the beginning
I'd say go ahead and do anything that can be easily reversed and doesn't leave any damage, intake, exhaust, wheels, tune, etc etc. Have fun! |
