OP: I'm not nearly as big as you, but the 370Z seats have pretty broad adjustment. Go back to the dealer and tinker with the seats; you'll find something that works I'm sure.

Someone asked about the comfort of a Bride seat. I have one in my car, the Brix III I believe, and it is awesomely comfortable. It also holds me in one place very well.

The OP needs to go & really spend some time with the effen seat. I am reading that people are 6'0'' to 6'5'' weighting 190-260lbs & now of them are having any issues. When you are sitting in the Z it is a sports car & is not going to feel like you are in some luxury sedan. Maybe you should go with the Hyundai Genesis.
at 260lb am I the heaviest Z driver on the board lol

I've tried everything. I sat in one for close to 20 minutes today. I'm still not counting this car out. I'll stop doing legs at the gym if I have to

Yeah I'll get a Genesis if you get the Veloster.

Speaking of Veloster there is a guy with one in my work parking lot that works at starbucks, loud loud loud exhaust on it. Make sure he buys that one.

I just want to clarify some things for OP. the Z is bigger in every category except shoulder room, which probably has to do w/ the bucket seats in the Z being more hugging.

2011 370Z interior:
Front Headroom (in.) 38.20
Front Legroom (in.) 42.90
Front Shoulder Room (in.) 54.40
Front Hip Room (in.) 54.60

2011 civic Si Coupe Interior:
Front Headroom (in.) 37.70
Front Legroom (in.) 42.20
Front Shoulder Room (in.) 55.10
Front Hip Room (in.) 53.20

Defective ZMan8 makes a very interesting point here. The only thing that the Z lacks as given was the front shoulder room by .70 inches. Maybe the OP is just in denial about the fact that the Z's seat will work to his height & weight. Maybe the OP isn't complying to try to actually make the seat work with him & to accustomed to the Si seats. The Z's seats will be more fitted to one's body & keeping you in place & is actually a sports car. OP get used to the Z's seat b/c it will keep you nice & tight when making those turns instead of sliding around in your seat.

It's the lack of telescoping wheel.

I come on here asking for suggestions and you think I'm in denial ? I keep going back to the dealership to find a comfortable position. I refuse to give up.

The Si seats are great too.

It just comes down to whether or not I can live with the Z. That means if I am getting uncomfortable while driving I can't put the seat all the way back to stretch. That's the issue right now I am figuring out on my own for the past day now.

It comes down to preference. I now need to make sure I can be comfortable with this car every day. Thanks for everyone's help.

Some advice for the next car purchase...

Some people just won't like the way certain cars feel. The best thing to do is test drive well. Sit in it. Spend time. My first test drive of the Z was like an hour long. Then I went back and took another 45 minute test drive. I test drove every affordable import and domestic sports car out there. A few of them twice. And a couple I rented. Do your research well and threads like this one won't be necessary.
