Oops just reread my reply, I didnt mean I do it all the time and it was not on the hwy

Still, the re050 are borderline dangerous in the rain

What tires do you have and what tread do you have left in x/32s?

You guys scare me so badly! I'm like paralyzed with fear when it rains

I've hydroplaned on the stock potenzas going 45 as well.. and that was with less than 1000 miles on them. the 050's ARE dangerous in the rain.

Buy real tires

+1 :iagree: Was in the rain and felt the car becoming unstable and heavily hydroplaning. Tires are only a few thousand on them. The tires are 100% dangerous in rain.

370zproject 04-29-2012 01:08 PM

want good rain tires get falken 452's they love the rain

jinkang612 06-01-2012 09:18 PM

idk lol

well to be honest my tires had about 95% tread on all 4 tires asb was on and no cars around i live in california and i just came to the conclusion that it was the first rain in a long time so i blame the oilly roads hahaha it was very slick now that i remembered it, thats y i drove hella slow but its all fixed and got a brand new rear bumper and exhaust put in again so ill post up some pictures of what it was and how it is now a bit later.

Check the inside of your tires, I bet camber wear is an issue. I had the same issue on my 09Z. I didn't hydroplane but I felt my car sliding left and right.
