Hard parkers. ~$8000 in wheels...and shitty *** stretched tires to go with it. Its also supposedly a twin turbo - horsepower unknown to me, but it doesn't matter, its not

Its also supposedly a twin turbo - horsepower unknown to me, but it doesn't matter, its not like the rubber could even dream of handling it. Nevermind the air ride suspension.

Ugg, all so dumb to me. Why even bother putting the turbo kit on it? Just leave it stock HP, its not like the tires could handle it anyway...

Yep, not a big fan of that either. Talk about some wheels that are destined to be curbed.

Let me find some pics of overly stretched tires. Doesn't even reach the lip.
So damn ugly

I can't stand super stretched tires either. Hopefully its just a fad, like spinners.

Sadly, I dont think its the case - I still see people doing it, and its been happening a long time. Long fad to still be running

No offense to the west coasters on here, but hard parkers seem quite prevalent out there...

Holy negative camber, batman!

Haha, one little bump in the road, and the front just mashes right into the flare...

Well I have to assume that when he's driving it, he lifts the air suspension up.

The rims actaully go inwards and up when hitting a bump. At first I thought major curb rash and fender rash....lol
I got a pic I saw where the rubber doesn't reach the lip, so the lip is hanging out alone....LOL

Side walls of the tires are bent up, isn't that a safety hazard?? And do they over pressure the tires to fit like that??

Many people argue that stretched tires are a safety hazard, but the proponents of it argue that theres hardly any proof that it will actually do anything.

Me, I can just take one look at the tires and with the understanding that tires aren't designed to flex like that, and know that its not particularly safe.

Try this video - I cant access youtube at work, but this was found on a quick google:

In the pic you posted. The walls are quite bent and it takes a good amount of pressure to do just that. Looks like a chopper's rear wheel, like a bubble.

And the sad part is, as you said in a previous post, its not even the most extreme incident of stretching we've seen, but the concept is same IMHO, and unsafe no matter what. Again, my opinion.
