Viper car alarm armed with car cover on?
I am looking into getting a viper car alarm system, most likely one of their security systems with remote start ( and shock system of course to deter people wanting my sport wheels/rims). I am wondering how the viper system works with having a car cover on at the same time. Will this set off the alarm system? or would I have to leave the viper system off with a car cover on and just rely on the stock security system?

IMO cars with proximity sensors are just asking to be f'd with. The shock sensor, which is generally what people rely on, will not be affected by the cover... the proximity sensor may not either but I wouldn't go that route regardless...
I remember when they came out (when I was in high school) people would purposely throw things at the cars just to set the alarm off. |
I don't the cover will make any difference given it's relative thickness
