I saw that too and was like, "Whaaaa...?"

Other than the concept sketch, no other info? Not even rumor?

Regarding the article, I think the Z cars were like number 17 in the top 25 best cars ever. Something like that.

Every 6 years, not 5.

03 04 05 06 07 06. I see 6 years for the 350z. So that articles is a crock o shyyyyt. Lol

The G 37 debuted 1 year before the Z.

I doubt the 2014 390Z will be produced. If I am wrong, hoo-ray. I just hope the Z car will continue in any traditional form.

None of the future engines that Nissan has patented is a 3.9. It will either be a 2.5 supercharged (which I doubt) a 3.0 and/or 3.0TT(most likely. Or a hybrid 3.7? Which I can equally see happening.

The 2.5sc I think will bring forth the Datsun Silvia. :) just my guess.

I can actually see nissan dropping the numbers and calling iit the Nissan Z and bringing forth all engines as options in different price ranges... you never know?

It would make the most sense for a 3.0TT to meet price, performance, packaging and fuel economy goals for the next generation where the hybrid option seems to be one more generation out if they continue with the Z that far. I just don't see a hybrid system fitting all of the above goals for a sports car like the Z quite yet.

First I think we're going to see a lot more turbo's and SCs across the board for sportier cars that attempt some claim to fuel economy, then hybrid versions later. Hybrid technology is getting better but it's not quite ready for mainstream sports car applications. The Fisker Karma and Porsche Panamera hybrid are paving the way however.

The new Ford Mustang is suppose to be goin to a 2.5 Turbo so if that doesn't show the way the trend is goin then i dunno what will.......

Z more than likely won'te be going the 3.0tt route. that has been "somewhat" leaked to the public with this

twinturbonet 04-25-2012 10:56 AM

Nah, I heard from my cousin's friend's brother's aunt who said that the new Z will have the same body as the Z34 but with a cardboard picture of a motor!

I was just going off of the quoted post. Let me revise my statement... it would make the most sense that if there is a significant change in power plants for the next gen Z, FI would make the most sense given the Z's competition.

That V6TT patent is for that 100k+ Infiniti they are building. Z shall remain N/A V6 as it has been for a majority of its 40 year run.

This has been needed for so long.

We have to search in all the latest porn magazines so we can find some more information on the new Z. Maybe we should also check porn sites and videos also for more information on the new Z.
