Also, the factory oil cooler would probably be adequate for spirited everyday driving without having to worry about the oil temp gauge. I have a 2nd hand 09 with no issues, but the peace of mind from a new car is worth a lot.
Its a $700 option. Its not standard and its been an OPTION sine 2010: Its just most dealers just have it in there lately because of the popularity of the product due to the majority of people not knowing how to back up a damn car. But most are paying for the part.

I still would rather have the '12 with anywhere from 6-30 miles on it than a used car with XXXX miles on it. It is easier to say that the '12 was treated well with only having such low miles on it, but the used Z could always be very questionable.

Its on my Z as well. It came with it. I didn't pay for it. It was basically a throw in. I barely glance at it. Once the mirrors are positioned properly you can back up fine without the cam.

Of course, but even those 6-30 miles could have been hard abused miles, just saying, you never know what the dealership sales people do when they "take it out to fill up the tank" I was actually questionable about my 41 miles when I bought mine.

Yeah true.....so very true. I see where your coming from, but I wouldn't think that they would redline through every gear if at all. They may get on it, but hopefully not abuse it. That is why if you thought that way, then you would baby her until you reached 1,200 miles, or until you felt comfortable to open her up. I wouldn't question the 10, 28, or 44 miles that are on it, but the big mileage (XXXX) on it would be more questionable on how she was driven & what was done on the effen road.

am i the only one who doesnt get all excited about the sport package? I dont like the 19 inch wheels at all, not a big fan of the spoiler, i heard the Bose speakers are nothing special and the bluetooth sucks, Brakes are better and LSD is useless for the most part.

So basically it is a POS? Having the 19's is better than having the 18's.

ya well if youre gonna keep the car stock the sport package is worth it, but i prefer aftermarket 19 inch wheels with a little more dish than those ugly 19 inch forged wheels.

His point is some of the extra amenities are subjective to one's liking. You might like the 19's he might not.

I personally <3 the 19's but I don't plan on changing the base rims to anything. Never was my intention before I bought the car.

I find that hard to believe. He could get a '12 Z that has been test driven to the ground. It's easy to tell someone else to spend on your decision but I personally would not buy brand new either, as someone else mentioned above. Buying used, the savings are great (assuming his rate isn't crazy), you get a car that still smells new, regardless of what everyone is saying.

Let's face it, the car is reliable and someone mashing in it won't necessarily make or break the car. It will have had an inherent issue from the factory. Just stating how real life works.
