These head units are installed where the radio is located in the Base model (i.e. below the OEM nav or cubby depending on model). Perhaps you could purchase an OEM navigation unit to replace the cubby in the Base model, but I don't recall seeing anyone that has done this. And of course there is always the option of finding someone to fabricate a completely customized OEM-looking replacement for the cubby that holds your choice of aftermarket head unit.

I recommend the sports package if you get a MT. But compare the upgrades to what you want to mod, as you may find yourself replacing parts that you paid extra for (i.e. spoiler, body kit, brakes, etc..). Synchro Rev Match is a pretty cool feature, too - a quick test drive is a good way to check out this feature for yourself.
Thanks that info was really helpful! I don't particularly mind if my Nav looks OEM or not, but I would like a NAV since its rather annoying to constantly look at the phone. I was looking at the AVIC-120BT model and it seems to fit the bill unless theres one that does a better job? I considered the sports package but I really dislike the lip. Is it easy to take it off and can I sell it for a few bucks?
