If I wanted to get really crazy, then I will take it to the track, but I do not have any intentions on doing so. It is definitely a good thing that law enforcement is cracking down b/c I know I wouldn't want to be a static for some other idiot on the road.

Your temps sound really good. Glad to hear that you are not worried either.

I figure I keep up the maintenance, buy brand name oil and OEM filters and there is little Nissan can do to deny a warranty claim if something pops.

Well, now that I've said that... :stirthepot:

However, you might want to know that street racing on NY roads carries VERY severe penalties. I mention this because in post 19 you indicated you were pushing your car hard and even racing on the highway.

If caught, you WILL do jail time, they confiscate and sell your car.

See this thread: http://www.the370z.com/north-east-re...-new-york.html.

Spirited driving is one thing, racing is a whole 'nother matter.

Just thought you might want to be aware of this...

Thank you

Track ? Eeehhhh !!!!!
Is not as fun as the streets man. I know is dangerous and etc.
But a quarter mile or mile is mad boring. Switching lanes having to watch out for cars is wht excite me.
But is not like I officially street race. Not at all. But hit 100-120mph on the highway with a few modded cars feels amazing.

Question.
An oil cooler would void Nissan warranty ?

This is why the 370z's insurance is higher than 911s, Corvettes and Vipers.....

+1.......
So you are going to tell me that if someone had a brand new Porsche 911Carrera S (96k), 911 Carrera 4S (98k), 911 Targa 4S (106k), Corvette Z06 (76k) Corvette ZR1 (112k) & a Dodge Viper (96k) that there insurance is less? That is complete BS & their insurance premiums will be a hell of a lot higher than someone with a brand new 370Z.

I know if I jump into a 96k or 100k+ car my insurance would probably double for a month. It is kind of common sense in a way b/c the Carrera, Vette & Viper price tags are double the price & have a lot more power as well. They are also probably considered more of a sport car, but definitely a high-end sports car. Porsche would be a high-end luxury sports car.
