I've just started watching for them. But unfortunately the price will have to be pretty good, to justify buying new ones when mine only have 800 miles on them. I have seen a couple of ads that would have been close, but they were already sold.

the best thing, for me, is having them both. I love the 370. It looks great, has great performance and Nissan did so much right with the car. I enjoy having it and having the twin turbo to mod and play with. I like the 370 so much that I have gotten the idea lately that I may drive it a year or two and pick up a little truck for daily driving and use the Zs for fun. That idea still needs wife approval. I think she will be Ok with it. IMO these two - 300ZXTT and 370Z - are the best two Zs ever made. I do want a 240Z to restore and have a mini collection, but that is down the road. While the 240Z is an iconic car, I don't think it brings to the table what the other two do. and BTW, I saw your comment on my pic - LSU is taking the National Title this year! It should be a great year, USC is always a contender and even though they need a QB and some defensive rebuilding they will be tough as always. I would love to see the two finally match up in a BCS game - hopefully THE BCS game. Good luck to the Trojans!

I suspect that's more wishful thinking than anything else...in any case, until there is a true playoff for it, the "national title" is pretty much nothing but Bovine Scatology anyway.

Already did clear bra and window tint. Thinking about wheels when it comes time to replace the stock tires.

My friend had the z32 tt brand spanking new in '91, and to make the long story short, he was spoiled ,the only child and you get the picture. He even got the Rx7 twin turbo a couple years later brand new as well. Anyways, he never let me drive it b/c I didn't know how to drive a stick then, but the rx7 he did. I never drove the z32 tt, but the na I did. Uhh...yeah, the Z32 is timeless. It's still goregous granted it's clean and not neglected nor riced-out. I'd take the z34 for the fact that it's newer technology and na (which implies it'll be more durable than a twin turbo motor), and also the styling is 21st century. But once again, the Z32 tt is timeless. If I could burn some money, I'd buy either a clean z32 or clean FD3s. |

I wasn't going to do any mods to my 370Z. That lasted for a whole week (only because I couldn't put the order in on the weekend ) I've got HFC, Cat Back and G3 intake on the way and I'll probably do the badges with the Z logo and tint and clear bra. Hopefully I'll keep my fingers out of it until the warranty runs out..... waiting to see what happens with the oil cooler/warranty issue as I'd like to track the car too....
So yea - totaly stock er stockish... |
