Picture of an oil cooler.

Hi Friends,do you guys have a picture of how a oil cooler look like,my car got a 'cooler' located at left hand side of the car, behind the grill,i don't it is A/T oil cooler or A/C..condenser,thanks.

When you say left hand side do you mean driver side or passenger side? If passenger side it is a power steering cooler.

Do a search, there are pictures of oil coolers everywhere. Look at RCZ's journal thread. Or go to Stillen's website and look at theirs. When you say left hand side, do you mean if you are facing the front of the car? If so, that's a power steering cooler. (I don't know which side of the car is the driver's side in Singapore.)

Left side of the car is the drivers side....

When talking orientation of your vehicle it is always from the perspective of the drivers seat ....

looking from the front is at left hand,oh yes,i think mine is the power steering cooler,i wonder why Nissan put a power steering oil cooler while the engine oil cooler is more important.!

That's fine and well if you simply assume that the driver's side is on the left. Maybe you didn't catch that the OP is in Singapore? Turns out that the driver's side is on the right in Singapore.

Sheesh. Maybe they should start shipping these cars with "Not for track use!" stickers on the dashboard.

The GTR's in Japan use the Nav system to sense when they are at a race track to automatically lift the speed governor (and probably sends an email to Nissan to void your warranty). The next model Z is going to do the reverse, when it senses you are at a race track it will impose a 60 mph speed limit :icon23:

I've got the perfect solution -- a tin foil helmet. If it's good enough to protect me from the CIA and aliens, it should be good enough to protect me from Nissan. ;)
