Bye Bye Z...
A few weeks ago, I decided I wanted to get Corvette due to Chevy currently offering 0% for 60 months as well as some killer pricing. Picked up my 2012 Corvette Grand Sport Centennial Edition on Thursday. I didn't initially want to get black, due to how much work it can be to keep it looking nice, but it was the only way I could get the car with the Magnetic ride control with the options I wanted (i.e. not an automatic) in my area. I'm actually really happy with the color, it's a metallic black, looks amazing in the sun light.
People talk trash about how bad the interior is in the Corvette, but I'm actually really happy with it, it's a 3LT trim, so it has decent options, and the Centennial package adds charcoal Alcantara seat inserts, steering wheel, and some other spots. Only thing that sucks is the center console, horrible nav, and Bose, but the exhaust note more than makes up for the shitty Bose speakers. It's actually my first manual transmission car, and I've only driven a manual once before so I'm still in the learning phase, but I'm getting more comfortable with it with every passing day. It's a blast rowing through the gears. The car draws a lot of attention, so it's kind of embarassing when I occasionally stall at a stop light or something, but that's okay, . Unfortunately right now, I wasn't prepared financially speaking to keep the Z at the same time, so I traded it in. I still love the Z, and will almost definitely pick up whatever the next rendition of it is, whenever that happens. Here are some pics right after I had a clear bra installed over the entire front end (minus the stripes, of course):

Anyway, please don't hate on me too much for ditching the Z, I still love it, and this community. I'll definitely be sticking around.

They do look similar, but the parts at the outside of the wheel are different, they just have an indentation, they aren't completely forked. I like the Z06 wheels better, but I'm happy with these.

I'm so glad they went matte for the wheels, hides the brake dust wonderfully, .

Haha, that's actually exactly where I'm at now, thanks to the shitty housing market.
