There were some sunflower seeds that came out on my passenger side floor when I opened the non recirculate vent . so basically let the air from outside come in

There were some sunflower seeds that came out on my passenger side floor when I opened the non recirculate vent . so basically let the air from outside come in without the power on. Tons of seeds fell in the car , pisses me off but I got it cleaned up. Does the non recirc draw air from the vents by your windshield wipers ? Have to get to the.bottom of.this thanks guys .
