i replaced the bridgestones with the v12's and noticed a difference.
but not a drop dead damn this is what it's is suppose to sound like...

i haven't rode in a new camaro or mustang so i have nothing to compare it to...
i wonder what the c6 road noise sounds like....

handling and a smooth ride is more important to me than tire noise...
and the z delivers on the first two..

i have hearing loss from serving in iraq and can speak just fine in the car

Yep. After 31k miles, my rear OEM RE050As were down to 2/32"s while my fronts still had 5/32"s.

Does a Quieter ride = less road feel?

I do autocross on occasion and want to know what the road conditions are - so would a quieter tire just mean it's not giving me as much feedback? (stock Bridgestones are almost toast, I'll need to get tires at the end of the summer maybe)

The only time my tires are unbearable is on those black tar/embedded gravel country roads. That's when I'm like lord help me. But even then. I understand what I bought. I was doing the speed limit, 80mph.

My previous ones were bald and couldn't grip at just 40mph.

Speed limit is 80mph....... Where is this at. All I effen see is 60, 65 & 70 here in TX. I would liek to get 80....

The Bridgestone Potenza that come stock on the G & Z are ok. Bridgestone Potenza are not the best, but maybe not the worst. I was able to get 19,750 on those tires for my G35 before I switched to BF Goodrich KDW NT (have the flame look to them). BF Goodrich KDW NT tires are awesome & they grip the road (dry or wet) like a mofo. Now on my G37S I had 20,800 & could have went another 5-10K miles more. I have never had Continental Tire's before. The Continental Tire's don't really appeal to me that much. I would rather go with the Michelin Pilot Super Sport before Continental Tire's.

i only got 13k out of the stock Potenzas... switched to the Super Sports, and loving them so far.

I have heard a lot of people say that they love the Super Sports. I would like for those to be my next set which I would increase tire size to 265/35 ZR 19's (front) & 305/30 ZR 19's (back). I am currently running 245/40 ZR 19's (front) & 285/35 ZR 19's (back) on Yokohama ADVAN Sport.

Our 130 toll road started at 70, then 75, and now they raised it to 80.

the hankook v12 significantly lowered road noise and its much more comfortable too. as for grip i haven't really noticed too much difference.

Yes ,they are quieter and softer in ride. More than the base Yoko Advans
