AK370Z 12-03-2008 03:34 PM

Yet another great find, Matt! Is it safe to convert them into dollars?

MC 12-03-2008 03:37 PM

i just did it for you

MC 12-03-2008 03:41 PM

so its roughly 15K for eveything including the stripes and mats and shifter knobs

so your looking at almost 50K is you speced out a 370z to full S-tune form

Thanks! Nismo/S-tune items are always kinda expensive so those prices look legit. One can buy individual items (i.e. wing or spoiler) instead of the whole package, correct?

MC 12-03-2008 03:49 PM

yeah

Endgame 12-03-2008 05:16 PM

Are we sure Nissan will simply convert those prices or will they be 'corrected' somewhat??

Also, why is the exhaust so expensive? Help me out here!!

well if you remember the JDM nismo stuff for the 350z was different than the USDM stuff. so when people wanted it they had to import it from places like mynismo.com or vendors like that. in that case yes its was JDM conversions

the USDM stuff was polyurethane where the JDM was FRP fiberglass. like the V2 bumper skirts and spoiler (which was about $1200-1400 alone)

but stuff like the wheels and suspension that were the same worked out to be the same prices roughly

bottom line. i doubt its any cheaper if they even offer it here officially. right off the bat

thx!

RCZ 12-03-2008 10:30 PM

VERY lol prices.

Endgame 12-04-2008 07:35 AM

Dude.. that is so true RCZ....

Does not matter too much to me as I only planned to get suspension and exhaust.

Was the Z33 Nismo exhaust a similar design?? What type of gains could be gained from that exhaust? I seem to remember the Z33 exahust only being the muffler area. Am I wrong??

MC 12-04-2008 09:05 AM

no it was a single pipe. it produced 6hp and 4 TQ per nismo claims

this thing should be more than that

Endgame 12-04-2008 10:03 AM

^Good deal. I bet it still will not be worth the $2k they are asking, but at least it is better...

gettingaZ 12-04-2008 01:20 PM

When should the Nismo package be available in the states?

ctzn 12-04-2008 02:32 PM

Good to know the prices, I am thinking the wheels and suspension for me...

Wonder if they will offer a gunmetal or black version of the wheel in dealers

zsport1 12-04-2008 05:44 PM

Cool.

Nice, lol second or third thread I see where you've contributed something useful ;) hehe

Unless that exhausts also makes girls clothes come off, then its not worth it. Although the purists will argue that you should only buy stuff produced by the manufacturer...even though its not really the mfg, but a branch...

Nice work AK!

Someone on another board said "with those prices, the 'S' must stand for sucker." :icon17:
I don't disagree, but we will see if there is a market adjustment.

Thanks man:tup:
I'm just trying to keep my mouth shut about the stand alone NISMO Z that will be coming out. Not the S-Tune parts. :hello:

shumby 12-19-2008 09:40 PM

^^^^ oh you opened it up a little tell more tell more

sensi09 12-19-2008 09:51 PM

The price on some parts are somewhat decent, but then you have the exhaust for 2K and the swaybars for $800. Way overpriced for those parts.

I'm curious to see how effective the body braces will be for the 370z.

All I can tell you is there will be a stand alone NISMO 370Z in less than a year. No need to purchase all of the S-Tune parts if you want the entire package.

sensi09 12-19-2008 10:18 PM

^Do you have any idea or can you give a hint about pricing on the nismo?

I honestly do not know what the pricing will be. Wasn't told that. But I know the date it will be released and have 3 friends who got to see it in person while in Japan last month. It's all confidential so can't give any details.

Slidefox 12-19-2008 11:02 PM

Full Nismo sounds nice!!

You know how hard it is for me to not say ANYTHING bro. But it will be on the market in less than a year and it looks better than the current NISMO 350 and better than the S-Tune 370Z.

MC 12-20-2008 04:24 AM

AK370Z 12-20-2008 12:23 PM

Good eye, Matt. Thanks for the info.

sensi09 12-20-2008 12:48 PM

Wow, the Nismo 370Z has me thinking. While moving from a Nismo 350Z to a 370Z was an idea, if there is Nismo version introduced so early, I might be more inclined to upgrade.

3SeventyZ 12-20-2008 06:27 PM

Dont think I'll be going with the nismo edition..

Endgame 12-20-2008 10:28 PM

Why not???

From what I see on the paper, I am not convinced either. I would want the Nismo to be a 09 CS killer right from the factory. This is not looking like it so far; we will see.

My bro Zsport1 seems excited about it however, so I am holding out some hope.

MC, NICE FIND!!!!
