I've had two 350Zs prior and currently have a Nismo Z, and the Nismo is simply better all-around. The Nismo has a quicker steering response, better transient response, is more composed over rough roads and is overall more stable than a regular Z. At the track is where the Nismo will shine, but it's benefits are still apparent on normal roads. There are many Nismo owners who have had previous Zs that share similar thoughts on this matter. You can search the nismo forum on my350z for more info.

I have no idea what the Nismo 370Z will offer, but if Nissan follows the same path, it shouldn't not cost much more than a sports packaged Z with all the options. If you break down the cost, it really is a lot of value for the money. You get aero pieces ($1K per bumper), suspension $1-2K if you can even source it, vibration absorbing dampers $1K, wheels, extra bracing and welding.....and that doesn't even include everything. If someone were to try and replicate a Nismo from a regular Z, it would not be very cost efficient.

Over rough roads and bumps, the Nismo stays composed due to better shocks and the vibration dampers. The Nismo's suspension is more stiff than a regular Z, but honestly is just as comfortable. I had a track Z which was lowered, and there is a day and night difference between the Nismo, with the Nismo offering a much better ride.

The vibration dampers are different from the body bracing. The body bracing makes the care stiffer, but the vibration dampers absorb impact. Here is a thread from my350Z with some info Nismo Z mass dampers? - MY350Z.COM Forums If you read through it, you can find reviews from owners with aftermarket suspensions who say the dampers improve the ride considerably.
