How useable is the rear hatch area in a 370Z?

I've driven the 350Z but not the 370Z but I can't remember how much room is back there. Could one fit a road bike back there with the wheels removed?

Could one fit a road bike back there with the wheels removed? I'm an avid cyclist and this is a must for me.

I found a nice 2011 model year with nav and leather for $33,999. Only 5 miles on it and I'm kind of considering buying it.

Thanks!

Not sure if a bike would fit or not. I would say I have been surprised how much I can fit though. Got to be careful things don't punch the glass when closing.

Also, I've found the black plastic inside to be much more susceptible to scratches than other cars I've owned. Even a slight touch will put white scratches in the surface. And bikes have lots of hard points...

That's disappointing to hear. I really like the Z...

I have a Maxima now but it is getting old and I'm thinking of what I'm going to replace it with.

You can fit a decent amount of groceries back there.

What do groceries have to do with a bicycle?

I searched and found this thread. Apparently you can fit a road bike in with wheels removed. Someone even posted a pic!

I mean if your looking to strap a barbecue grill, some bikes, and some Ski's then the Z is the completely wrong car. It's a sports car.

Nothing really, but the title of your thread is, "How useable is the rear hatch area in a 370Z?"

No, just a bicycle. I'm aware of what kind of car the Z is. It will be my daily driver but I also need my daily driver to occasionally haul me and a bicycle to meet up with friends to go riding.

I don't think it's a particularly strange question.

It is a strange question. Bicycles and Z's aren't a good combo. You should get a WRX. Perfect match.
