i just took my Z to her first maintenance.. which leads me to my question of the day.. lol .. regular maintenance 36 dlls.. and 150 dlls for ester oil .. which they said it was way better.. what is your guys' take on this? overpriced? i could do better myself?...
i drove it for a while and it kinda feels better, but tomorrow im going for a longer drive

Good evening/morning Mike, I am going to bed very soon, the driver's side rear tire seems leaking air slowly, 3psi/2 days, I will have to go to the mechanic morning before going to work.

I am too much of a newbie to answer your question.. Others will chime in, maybe in the morning..I had a 350Z for years , but my 2009 370Z I just picked up with 6000 miles on it...

So someone who knows should chime in to help, maybe in the morning...I would like to know the answer too.

Synthetic Oil is better than regular, that's for sure.

And for 150... I am not sure cos I don't live in the States, but I remember people in this forum has suggested Mobile 1.

Ester Oil is synthetic oil, it's the name of an ingredient, and I remember Mobile 1 synthetic has Ester in it too.

This is what my brain can squeeze out now...

i dont know exactly the brand they used.. i was trying to look but they have it in bottle with the nissan logo .. but they gave me a sticker with the date for next service.. with mobil 1 .. so i want to assume they use mobil 1, maybe ?
