Good to hear First time I experienced oversteer was a few days ago on my way to work, I gunned it around a fast corner right before the office in the rain and the back went out a bit, VDC didn't help...only time I've unintentionally done that. The Conti DWSs have given me too much confidence in the rain.

That makes sense. One time i was going to the gym at 6:30 AM on a Sunday (so nobody out on the roads) and the road was wet from the night before. I was driving spiritly and I hit too much gas while making a left turn. There went the Z's A** and I was like . I had the car only for 3 months at that point.

if one cannot control a drift while accelerating from standstill and turning, then one has no business with a rwd sports car.

disclaimer: drive safely on parking lots...

disclaimer: the above dislaimer is a joke.

It's surprising how many people with RWD cars don't understand vehicle dynamics at all. "I don't understand why the back end would swing out in a turn if I spin the tires?"

It's like the tweens in Civics and stuff that get killed in high school because they think their car can easily take a 35 mph corner at 75... plow straight off into a tree and die.

Here, it's dumb kids trying to "drift, yo." Oops... off into the curb/forest/wall they go. Oh, look, I just got a vehicle risk adjustment on my insurance bill!

i think most people think the Z sways too much because they dont know the limits yet of the car. once you know where the car's rear breaks free then i think one would understand that the sway isn't all that bad. i thiink people get scared and start claiming it's the car, not the driver.

Most people also don't understand the difference between power-on oversteer and the actual balance of the car. Most people seem to get in trouble when they give too much throttle around a turn... or like I mentioned above when they try to drift.

Just add more front wing and dial in some negative camber.

(says the guy running NO front wing on his FF LOL!)

Yeah that was the first and only time I didn't intentionally break the rear end loose. but I knew right away it was me giving to much throttle on the turn and not the car being weird.

lol. yah, most kids just do crazy things without knowledge of driving, suspension tuning, risks associated with road conditions, etc. but then again i bet most cars out on the road are running under inflated tires ready to burst when making any quick manuvers...

Which is why we are all supposed to drive DEFENSIVELY instead of offensively. There are lots of hazards out there.
