all the current gen mustang looks the same to me.... i cant tell which one is which.
i sound like my wife. oh, it's the blue mustang. or the yellow mustang.... or white... not sure which trim.

I guess the same reason there was a guy at my local car show with a Chrysler 300C SRT with 4 lambo style doors... Complained to a BMW guy that where he parked was for fast cars only. He was next to a challenger that I overheard talking about walking GT-R's all day.

They are slobs, or have bad relationships, no real future, ect... so they project it onto other people....whew...That was better...
