I'm thinking maybe it's because I'm a girl. Less inclined to know what the going rates are or what type of work is actually needed and done. What sucks most is that this shop was my most trusted. Oh well, the search continues...........

Yep. For a CBE install it should be 1 to 1.5 hours of labor, if that. If someone quotes you otherwise call BS (and don't give them your business as they are dishonest).

I think 1hr top... they should be able to do it in 45 minutes or so once its on the lift

It's Wed and my day off, at the dealer right now to have them adjust the passenger window, doesn't drop enough when opening the door thus rubbing the canvas. Service has been great so far thus can't complain

. Consider mechanic usually charges $60-70/hr, I am curious why the hell it will cost them 6-7 hours to install a bolt-on CBE, does that store run by raccoons??? eh??

They're totally screwing you with that estimate. Do not proceed! Going elsewhere is in your best interest.
