Intelligent key replacement
I just purchased a 2010 Z and unfortunately it came with only one key. The previous owner promised to mail the other key to the dealer but never did. Not a Nissan dealer by the way. They said they would try to contact him again but I'm not holding my breath.
Anyway, I contacted my local Nissan dealer and was quoted $290 for a new key installed. That is even worse than I expected. Does anyone know a reputable aftermarket replacement and how difficult is the programming. I programmed an aftermarket key for my Dad's Toyota with no problems. |
