Mother gets her retirement present
Hello,
Many of you requested the video of my mother getting her new 370Z roadster as a retirement present for working 35+ years in her profession. Well yesterday I was able to give her the car and my father as well as myself recorded her reaction. I hope you enjoy: Last edited by Trips; 04-04-2012 at 09:45 PM. Reason: fixed link |

Man that is one hell of a birthday gift! Good job man, you sound like a good son, like me.
A couple of questions popped up in my mind while watching the video: 1. What was her profession over the 35 years? 2. Who is paying for it (assuming mom) and who used their credit to initiate the loan (assuming you)? 3. How much did the sweet ride cost? 4. Is your dad kind of a nerd? I don't mean that in a bad way. I consider myself a nerd at times...most of the time. 5. That Nismo is not yours by chance, is it? That's all. Thanks! |

Just to answer some questions about it....
My mother worked at my towns public schools for over 35 years. The car is a lease I signed for when I took my new job. I will tell you my parents will end up paying a portion of the payments because it drops my pay check significantly. The actual price of a roadster optioned the way it is, is around 50,000. My father is a bit of a nerd, but in a fun way, as am I. Yes my mother knew about this car, she was with me when I ordered it. They were in Florida for a while so I had to take care of the car until they got back. Finally, yes the Nismo is mine! |

Haha that's cool man. Honestly do you like the roadsters interior better than the Nismo or what?
