How long did it take for you to get to 1200 miles?
Just like the title states, I'm curious how long it took for you all to reach the 1200 'proper break in' miles. I'm more interested in those that actually followed the Owner's Manual, not so much those that 'drove it like they stole it' because if you did, it would only take 1 day lol.
I've owned my Z for about 2 weeks now and I'm 'only' at 35 miles. At this rate, I'll probably hit 1200 miles next year if not later! |

3+ months and still not there yet. My mod days are slowing down now now so perhaps I can be optomistic and say within 6 months 1/4 mile at a time.

2 and a half months.
My first 3 month service is a week and i'm sitting on 1350 miles. I would have had less miles, but a family member had to borrow my beater for about 3 weeks. |

My 2011 Z is hitting a April 1 year ownership anniversary. Odometer currently at 1056 miles. I just haven't driven the car hardly at all. I really like it but drive around in a DD most often. I don't know for sure but I might sell it in May. At this point who knows.

2/25 was my purchase date 6.6 miles on her, i have 243 as of today. But she is my weekend toy, and i take her on a nice selected route. I'll get to 1200 when i get there, still enjoying her by following break in rules.

I was trying to get break-in over with. You gotta get those first 5k miles on the car before long hibernations or modification. 5k parts are broken in well and lubrication has really melded to the engine well.
