Similar bad story on Eibachs over stock dampers... put them on my street car, a honda, and ended up blowing the dampers within weeks... despite the fact that Eibach claimed perfect fitment, they put too much stress on the dampers

I person I know claimed that his Eibach springs (on a different car) cracked up under the stress from the track, and when he inspected it they crumbled into 4 or 5 pieces. So maybe they're aren't the best choice after all.

almost every formula one car runs eibach, as well as cars in almost every other racing series. If his springs crumbled, I'm sure there were other issues at play.

Stock shocks will do until bilstein or tokico, et al, come out with a better solution.

Yes..Eibachs have wide usage and an excellent reputation. I've also used Tokico's as well as Bilteins and am a big fan of both..I'm going to hold out a bit til those options are on the table...Though a shock swap on this car does not look like a lot of work so no major labor lost..
