My Z was egged!!
 

so my neighbor knocked on my door around 6:30pm today to tell me my car was egged!!! Must've happened sometime last night since i took her out for a ride till about midnight yesterday.

thankfully it was raining all day today, so 99% of it just wiped off. but there's still some stuck in the edges around the passenger headlight that i can't seem to get out. i live in an apartment complex, so no access to a hose.

looks like they threw 2 eggs, one hit the front bumper just under the passenger headlight, and the other hit near the top of the windshield and went over the car since the egg shell was behind the car.

i didn't see any paint damage, but with the sun going down and rain water all over the car, it's hard to tell.

Lucky there was no damage. My car still has over 1k in damage.

That so sucks. Any apartment surveilence cameras?

1k in damage from egging? Damn.. Do the eggs eat through the paint?

wow !!! im sorry to hear that !!! Some people have no respect !! This happened to make truck about a year ago and they hit the truck so hard with the eggs that the paint chipped right off and even dented it !! glad to hear there was no major damage !! Karma always comes back !!

not that im aware of, but this got me thinking into putting one of my own looking out my window at the z.

That really sucks but you didn't go outside to take a look at your Z all day till 6:30pm? Sometimes I just look out the window in the morning to make sure it's still there lol but usually I garage it.

There are four marks on my door and fender that look like quarter size spider cracks and it's extremely noticeable. They hit with so much force it's just ruined my paint. To fix it they have to completely sand it down and repaint. They are still trying to find the kids who did it.

The marks are a lot worse now from when it happened..

haha i actually look out my window all the time at my car, especially after i just wake up, but i couldn't see the egg with where it was hit and the angle i was looking at.

due to the rain there were cherry blossom leaves stuck all over my car, so if i did notice any egg, i would've just assumed it was them.

ouch. yah, definitely get a wash and inspect for impact marks. egg shells are notorious for making deep scratches and cracks.

hell, i'd go blast it all off at a carwash even if it's raining if i was in that situation.

Same reason they make viruses...they think harming other people or their property is funny..and you can't tell them any different..
