Thanks for the comparision
I had a 05 Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart prior to my Z. While I had an itch for a new car and the Subaru Imprezza/WRX was on my short list due to cost, I am a Z Fanboy easily...so had to go with my dream car, wouldn't have taken anything less Definitely whats tempting about the WRX is the ease to increase power and that its already boosted. I totally get what you were trying to say when you were comparing the two.

Always wanted to get a 300zx... I was close a few times, but it never panned out. They look good and still very modern even today. Just an awesome car. To bad that Nissan didn't have the turbo option from the factory with the 370. Would have really been cool even if a lot of us wouldn't have had the money... at least we could have gotten the old stuff from other guys who upgraded theirs

Like I said though.. I didn't get the car for that stuff. I got it for all of my daily driving, some fun driving, doing whatever else I need to do with the added room I have. Would I have kept the Z if I wouldn't have been trying to cut down on bills? Sure. Am I crushed that I traded it? Nope. I could have kept it, but having the Subaru allows me to have extra money at the end of the month which is always a plus. |

Enjoy your new WRX. My buddy has an 07 that he has dropped some money into over the years. It's pretty quick, reliable, and comfortable -- and it handles well in every type of weather.
You'll get haters, but anyone who knows cars will hear the boxer rumble and smile. Also lol @ the posts saying you're taking a huge downgrade. Anyone who has been behind the wheel of one knows that it can be just as fun, especially in the parts of the country where you get four seasons. Ignore the idiots telling you to get out, too. Once a Z owner, always a Z owner!

I don't have any problem with this thread, I have a problem with you making slighting comments towards others for no reason. If they are not knowledgeable, then educate them in a well thought out and nice way.

I don't understand why people are bashing the OP. He's just making a comparison thread while GSXR is trash talking the OP's new car. If you don't like the OP's new car then ignore the thread and move on. Why bother talking down other people?
Either way the WRX is nice! And that's the color I originally wanted an STi in.
