Default How do you turn off the Passenger side airbag? Baby riding shotgun

My wife is using my 370 and has to pick our 2 year old from Daycare with it today. She has the manual in the car and refuses to look at it at work so I can t tell her how to disarm the passenger side airbag.

Its automatic with a weight sensor in the seat. If your child does not meet the weight requirement it will disarm itself. My wife made me show her prior to allowing my little one to ride.

for some reason my gf does not trigger the sensor sometimes and it says the airbag is off. She weighs 115ish...if she sits with her leg up (life half-indian style) then it always shuts off

Nope. Just make sure the bottom of the booster seat is sitting flush on the seat cushion. Initially, I had the seat reclined to far forward and it was lifting the rear of the booster seat preventing the system from working properly.
