See ya in the corvette forum. Proud owner of C5 corvette:
Nothing wrong with a Vette. Ah, the radio stack cheapen the interior but, you can fix that really easy guys. Plus can you say HUD. That's pretty nice stuff there. Someday I'd like to get a C6/C7 ZR1. The 370Z is my DD though. I plan on getting over 250K miles on my Nissan. I'd be glad to get 150K miles on my Vette. Plus, Vette doors are just too big for the big city in my opinion. That's is why my Supercharged Firebird get weekend duty too. It's fast but those darn doors. GM and big doors; what's up with that? I'll have to say the wife likes the Vette better than the Z. That is because of the magnetic ride and she was a naysayer at first. I like the competition mode Good Luck - OP !!!! Come back and say hi every once in a while. You'll always understand and appreciate a Z I'm sure. Last edited by Mecinoid; 03-29-2012 at 04:58 AM. |

I have owned a C6 Corvette and gone through 2 350z's,I still would choose Z over the C6,the vette was great but just felt like a spaceship in the city,Z felt more in touch with the road, great car none the less..Im on the Corvette forum as Manny350Z as well...take care

I purchased my 06 c6 convertible off the showroom floor. Thought I'd have it for a very long time and added some extras to get it to 440 hp. Ended up trading that in on a 2010 mx5-gt and also added more hp. Traded that in on a 2011 ford f350 6.7 diesel loaded. At the end of the day, traded the truck for a 2012 370z coupe with sport package. Now I can't wait to receive my FI TDX CBE system in June.
All those prior vehicles were great and served their purpose with no regrets, but with that said, I have to admit this car is just a great experience every day I drive it. Best if luck....you'll enjoy the vette. |
