Would be interested to know what other car you looked at when making the purchase on the Z..

I will save everyone the trouble...Mustang 5.0. Oh wait, you said before purchasing the Z. To answer your question, a GT-R. Then, I realized there is a big difference between being able to purchase one and being able to afford one.

Porsche 911 and BMW M3.

used 911 or used NSX.

Im with the latter, looked at buying a used cayman and a 5.0 but was tired of owning a mustang.

96-02 Viper GTS, C6 Z06, looked at a couple Ford Raptors.

no other car.. my reason? was cuz i thought my insurance was gonna sky rocket with me and the Z and being 21 years old. but on the contrary they asked if it had a turbo.. i said no, they said "well then its not considered a sports car to us" so my insurance a year for my Z is $877 (after they dropped it 300 bucks)

any other sports car i would be looking at woud have my insurance jacked up regardless... with the Z tho? it was destiny so NO!

however i do Admire: The GT-R, NSX, any Ferrari, any Lambo, Porsche, and of course....the Vette. have to include that

3.8 Gen Coupe, Evo, STI.

any model c6. which i will do anyway i'm on my third z.........
will be time for a change late next year...............

The z is amazing and I've never been a mustang fan but the 5.0 is growing on me big time....

It was either the Z or the WRX STi. They wouldn't let me test drive the STi, so it was the Z for me lol.

none. the Z is something i've always wanted. i didnt wake up one morning and decide to get a new car. i saw the Z for the first time 21 years ago, and have been obsessed with it ever since. increasingly so with every generation Z to emerge.
