It's not like 1199miles you need to do <4K rpm and then in one more mile everything is suddenly "ready to rip". I think that after 5-600 miles, gradually increase aggressiveness. This is how all other things are broken in, not some drastic 2-step process, but a bunch of gradual steps.

Oh I know.. I have been up past 4K and few times already. I want to drop the oil in it before really pressing on the skinny pedal and really having some fun :driving:

I am having all my fluids switched to Red Line synthetic (MT-85/diff/engine) and the NISMO oil filter installed this Thursday. The NISMO oil filter really is a sick piece of engineering from what I read about it.

Watching the miles before you get on the car,these engines are pre-ran at the factory(not just started)the only thing that is important in the beginning(notice I didn't break-in period)is ester oil should be used,then after 5000 miles pick a good synthetic and enjoy.:driving:
