Still I'll stick through it over losing this car. But if I have to pay 6 dollars a gallon, I may trade this in and get a smart car
For myself I am looking into getting a bike for around 5-7k. That has a much better chance of paying for itself than buying another vehicle.

A bike is a great option. I have two bikes ('09 Triumph Speed Triple and '01 Suzuki DR-Z400S converted to SM) that get decent gas mileage (35-45 mpg), and that is with going no-holds-bar and never having to worry about 'taking it easy'. Hopefully I can start using my bikes within a few weeks....
