I'm sure you won't have any problem spending it on "something", be humble in the fact that you have that extra flow just "lying" around to use, some right now in this economy don't have that luxury.

Swifts +spacers+sways and rotors+lines+pads. You address the most crucial of weaknesses on the Z. That's a few hundred over a grand but money extremely well spent.

ATM0008 03-07-2012 12:17 AM

Get the Gen 3 intakes and then swifts+spacers+sways. Go power is better than stopping power :p
Btw, To get a flush fitment, what spacers do you guys usually run for the stock wheels?

15/20 and 20/25 are popular.

Exhaust is definitely the way to go!

Hookers would be better but you are on the right track if you listen to this guy.
If you mean for your car then swifts, camber arms and spacers

Hookers and blow FTW. 2x escorts (200/hr ea.) + 3x 8-ball of cocaine (~200*) = the best hour of your life. Guaranteed.

If you call a stillen intake GO power??? Lol. You're definately a noob. If you don't have good stop power? How are you supposed to survive from GO power?

How about getting one of these...

_ace_ 03-07-2012 07:26 PM

I got better tires and an oil cooler after fixing the stereo. If I didn't go to the track now and then I'd have purchased Stillen G3s and then ART pipes.

My stock suspension is a bit different though and I'm halfway done with the brakes anyways (I consider it maintenance rather than play money and budget it differently), so that may be more important to you. Swift makes great springs if you want the car a bit lower.

Spending a bit more to get extra sticky rubber is a lot of fun too if tires are coming up soon.

StLRedrider 03-07-2012 07:39 PM

save it

mantella87 03-07-2012 07:55 PM

Exhaust.

sonic370 03-07-2012 08:20 PM

Thanks for all the cool response's don't know yet what to do. the Stillen G3s seems like solid advice. noticed from some forums searches if there not installed right they can be a big pain and through all kinds of codes.
run rich etc. exhaust might be a better idea would love to improve the exhaust
note on the 370. even the 350 sounded better....

I agree, the car is too quiet stock. A nice CBE really changes the soul of the car.

Suprisingly I like the exhaust sound on our Zs, sounds especially good around 4-5.5k rpms.

I thought the same thing in the beginning. I even told myself that I was probably never going to replace the exhaust. I still agree that the stock exhaust sounds nice when you get on it, but after getting my new exhaust, it's amazing.

I don't doubt it, but remember 370zs are pure sex hot loud and rough. :roflpuke2:
