Default AAM or Topspeed?

Hey guys I can't make up my mind. I've got a stock exhaust on my Z right now, I only have the Stillen Gen 3s. My plan is to save up the money for the FI LTH + CBE. But I have three options right now and I can't decide which one to pick. I want to hear your opinions and reasons why
1. AAM short tails for $200/$250 - they sound amazing, lose a tad bit of torque (so I've heard)
2. Top speed CBE in the for sale section for $300+ shipping - more hp, not AS good of sound
3. Save the money towards a set of wheels to put the power to the ground - probably the responsible choice, but not the fun one.

GO!

What the Huck?! lol

If i were you i'll take the AAM short tail hands down. I've been running the AAM + Stillen Gen 3 and believe me that combo sounds MONSTROUS! but i've sold of my AAMs and i regret doing that

And save up some cash and get a decent wheels after the exhaust

Thanks man I wish I just had like $60,000 to drop all at once then I would be happy lol. I don't want to go really extreme with her since she's my dd. I'm thinking CAI, LTH, CBE, pulleys, front lip, CF accents, and wheels. A good set of speakers inside and I'm done

I heard AAM makes your ears bleed :P
i vote topspeed cuz i dont like overly loud exhausts that drone and make everything in the car vibrate

I drove behind a nismo yesterday for a good half hour, he had them on and it wasn't overly loud. When he would step on it yeah they were pretty ballsy, but at cruise speed you could barely hear them. We cruised between 70 and 85 mph and they weren't loud at all, just when you floor it.

Guess it all depends on what you are after, sound or HP. The short tails are about the sound in my opinion. Good luck whatever you choose!

I like the look of Top Speed better, at least they have the muffler and it looks pretty good mounted.

Nice thread. No one seems to have concrete dyno numbers for the TopSpeed it seems. I wonder if the gains aren't anything to write home about?

I personally wouldn't spend money on an exhaust system just to get a new system later. Either save for a full system or spend whatever you have budgeted now on a different mod of that price. That's just my opinion.
