Question from someone who hasnt tracked the car, but if your doing a quarter mile, dont you drop the clutch to get going?? Like at 4,500 rpm? or if you

Question from someone who hasnt tracked the car, but if your doing a quarter mile, dont you drop the clutch to get going?? Like at 4,500 rpm? or if you wanted to drag or do a 0 - 60 time...? I wouldnt think dropping the clutch even a bunch of times would do anything... Grinding the clutch may be a different story...
