Consumer report
 

I know that we have discussed consumer report's opinion of our 2009, 2010 370z. I have used consumer report's reliability and unrelibaility reports on other products that i have purchased. How realiable is consumer report? Should i be concerned... I have a 370z, 2010, roadster, 6m, touring model.

CR is good for appliance products.

Cr will give you a rough idea of how many issues come up with a vehicle.


The confusing thing is they group major and minor issues together, and everyone has different expectations from a car.

What it should tell you is a Z is no Toyota Camry...but of course...you shouldn't expect it to be.

Dude, it's hard to say, because Consumer Report haven't done a report on Consumer Report yet. :bowrofl:


Seriously, what are you concerning about your Z? And if there's a particular area/component you are in question, you can always ask around in here, it's no better to ask the people who owns/drives the car than just get info from a paper report which written by a group of people who just perform some tests and past-statistical-numbers.

I don't believe half the things these reports and articles say. Some cars have problems, some don't. It happens. Some people's Z's have not one issue while another persons Z has a new problem everyday. It's any car, any manufacturer.
