Haters are too Funny..
I have had a 240Z and just about every other Z except a 2 plus 2....The 280Zx, the 300Z, the 300Zx, the 350Z.... And now the 370Z Sport... I loved the 350Z....Funny, Why would a true Z owner ever hate any Z car... We cannot please anyone, let alone eveyone.. I have owned Camaro Z/28's and Z cars since the 70's.... Children will be children, so we TRUE Z lovers just have to laugh |

I personally prefer the 350 platform as a G35C. :p

I love 350's. They are hot.
|
I loved my 350 too. I'm having a hard time enjoying my 370 because I miss my 350. Hopefully I'll come around and start liking the 370 more lol.
Don't get me wrong though. I love my 370 as well. Just needs a few more mods! |

The 350Z was raw and faster feeling...I think it will just take time to get used to the 370Z. I do love the 370Z Sport/Touring. But I really think people are lame that get a 370Z and then hate on the 350Z. Other issues in life are involved, and not just the car. Just cause i don't have a G35 or a Mustang, or whatever...I would only hate them because they beat me,haha.. But to hate a car ? I could see hating the 280Z 2 plus 2... |

But the Z34 handling is by far leagues better than the 350z. It feels way more neutral. Steering feel is perfect. Its noticeable faster at the needle. And the overall design is an improvement. Both Z's are awesome though and minus initial torque, (which I miss as well) the Z34 is what the Z should be as a progressive design. Maybe they will redesign the cams for 2013 to provide more inital torque??? |
Well that first thread had most posts from when the 370 was being released, EVERYONE seems to always hate when their favourite car gets a makeover, then they love it lol.
I for one wanted a 350 for so long, when I first saw a 370 I was like....yuck. But then it grew on me quickly, realized all the improvements (especially Interior) and that it resembled the 240 and then I was hooked, couldn't stop thinking about a 370. |

I am just used to tons of torque and throttle response from my 71 Z/28 , and the 350Z satisfied that feeling. Felt like it would run with my car. I am sure it would.. The 350Z Enthusiast had way more power than braking, or cornering on certain roads...Tires and Brakes are key.. But I will spend some months getting used to overall driving of the 370Z.. It is still a newbie...6000 miles on the car, but i have 30 miles driving.. Oh I forgot they made a 300zx 2 plus 2 also I think....As desirable as a Toothache.. |
I'm not no of those "I've loved the Z since diapers" guys. And I was at the unveiling of the 350z at the 2001 Tokyo auto show. I didn't like it. I thought it lacked something. Style mainly, it's exterior is plain and it's door handles are look like they belong on a truck. I think of the 350z as a prototype and the 370 as a fully refined sports car. If not for the style of the 370z I would have never considered a Z.

My friend owning a 350 and me a 370, I can say both Zs are really great cars in my eyes. I even like the older 300 and 280s a lot of older guys in the CT Z Club have em and they are head turners!
