Curb weight is curb weight there's no different method to measure curb weight.
The 3250lbs or whatever it is Nissan list is NOT the 370Z's curb weight. The true "curb weight" is between 3370-3425lbs depending on model and 3300lbs for the Nismo. Manufactures rarely ever list their cars "dry weight" as Nissan did with the Z (I guess they were trying to impress as much as possible but it's a bit deceiving) This isn't a big deal really because the road testers typically weigh them on their own.
