Rev limiter: Gradual vs abrupt
What are your thoughts on the new gradual rev limiter?
A lot of people complained about the abruptness of the limiter on the older Zs. Personally, I became accustomed to the abruptness. I was always flirting with the redline, and should I hit the limiter, bam, next gear. Now that it's gradual it takes some getting used to... it's so gradual in higher gears that you almost don't even realize it's cutting power until you stop accelerating. Thoughts? Opinions? |

The rev limiter was made more gradual on the later 350Z's - I had both and I can tell you that the more gradual one is much better. The harsh cut-in on the early 350Z's was just plain dangerous.
