How about a socal members track day guys?
i always wanted to go out to the track and run the car to its limits but never had a chance to go out there.
so i was wondering instead of having the mountain/canyon runs why not go out to the track instead? Oh btw i have never been out to a track and this is my first rwd vehicle so i have no idea what i am doing. lol So if anyone is kind enough to teach me how to control the car at its limits that would be awesome. (dinner is on me ) |
I'm in the same position as you, I've hit the track quite a while on my bike but never on my car. It'll be nice to go for the first time with some familiar people, helped a ton on my first track day on my bike when I went with co-workers.

Haha wow first rwd.....you better be very careful dude. Let me tell you...my first rwd was my current car, and if you know anything about the s2k, it's the MOST rewarding to drive at the limits but also the MOST dangerous. Like MANY others, ive almost gotten myself killed many times trying to learn the dynamics of rwd. If you're like me and think you have balls bigger than you actually do, you will be tempted to just go balls out and try to countersteer your mistakes. That will get you killed. Just know your limits, be cautious in the beginning, know your limits and don't be a pussy to admit it. You will be much better off that way than most people. It took me 3 years of ownership to finally be very comfortable at the tracks and you should expect the same. Treat your car with respect and you'll be golden. Gluck!
