I want one too, but I also want a Viper. And I need a house first.

I'm pushing 380 BHP with less than 3K worth of mods from forum members, STILL way less investment than the Mustang, and being lighter than the Stang shows up on all parts of the street and track. You just need to make your decision based on which forum you like better, and you alone must make that call.

I think he's talking MSRP vs. the GT500 now that I think about it.

Either way, I am going to ge tthe Z I have decided. Is it practical for where I live? absolutly not. Am I doing something mildly stupid? Definitly. DO I care if others judge me or what they think about this? **** NO!!! ![]() That said I only have to make it through 1 maybe 1.5 winters before I can buy a decent 4wd beater for winter driving. |

Heh, well I don't know. I always figured the mustang weighed more. Granted I never actually looked. Sorry I didn't know?
Ahh Nismo is around 4.4 and Mustang Boss is around 4. So .4 second difference in 0-60, I was wrong. At least I added a question mark because I didn't know :P But I don't think .4 seconds is enough to make fun of me >< EDIT: In fact looking at standard 2010 models of the 370Z(base) and the Mustang (base) the 0-60 IS faster on the Z, see I knew I read about it somewhere. Likely you will come back and find some flaw in my reading I overlooked and make fun of me >< please be gentle if I am indeed mistaken. Last edited by Gauge; 02-25-2012 at 12:19 AM. |

And in 0-60 terms, a lot of rag racers will tell you .4 seconds is huge. But more accurately, I agree with m4a1. The stang would be faster 0-60 under equal conditions and with equal drivers. But paper statistics matter very little. Both are great cars. Enjoy the Z. ![]() |

Mustang can't out handle the Z and it is heavier stock for stock. To give and example the Roush stage3 2012 and the Boss 2012 were tested by the stig around the track and the Boss won with 50 less HP. Last edited by Compdoc777; 02-25-2012 at 08:48 AM. |
