I can say without a doubt the guys and gals of this forum are first rate!!! No haters just a bunch of people who enjoy cars, whatever there make. Thanks everyone again for all the support. I'm sure I'll be back for more discussions. unfortunately the Lotus forums are a bit thin (due to the relatively low production quantities) If you see a Carbon and Black Evora around St. Louis I will always give your Z a big thumbs up and a wave.

hey chirowolf, I don't understand the title, why sad?? It a freaking nice upgrade

If you miss the Z, come to the next Z meet, I bet the Z fellows will gladly let you the Z key and VICE VERSA!!!

Too bad I don't live in St.Louis, darn!!

I live about 90 miles north of St. Louis. I regularly visit the city. You ever need a Z for the weekend, chirowolf, just let me know. I'm sure we could arrange something. Meet ya at Fast Eddies.

The Evora is a sharp looking car, but its not the Lotus I would have gone with. I dunno, its too "soft" compared to the Elise/Exige. So many other choices in the +$65k range. Exige is one of my all-time favorite though.

Congrats on the new ride.

I did test drive a Exige final edition. Awesome car, but hard. It is also not a very easy car to get in and out of. I went with the Evora because it did have some comforts, but no denying the Exige is a great car.

How is the amount of space around the pedals in the Evora? I have heard that the tunnel is a little tight.

The space is OK, but there is no dead pedal. All the pedals are offset alittle toward the center of the car. You get comfortable with the setup pretty quick.
The frame is bonded aluminum which makes for a pretty wide threshold and a narrower tunnel.

Do you feel the car oversteers? From my experience (GT5 ) the lotus' I drove had oversteer.

have yet to push the car, but have read some about the oversteer. Want to break in the car abit more before flogging it. So far everything about the handling is just great.

It's not like you went out and traded in your Z for a Mustang. That'd be different.
