It does have a Toyota engine. The chassis is bonded aluminium with fiberglass resin body. make the car just over 3000lbs. Lotus has a SC version but cost $12k more. The the standard Evora is pretty rare(500 units in USA) but the SC is supper rare(60 units in USA) |

I'm from the Illinois about 20 miles north of St.Louis. purchased the car at ST.Louis Motorsports in Chesterfield Valley.
Right now they have a used Ferrari Italia way out of my price range, but Lord it is beautiful. originally I was looking for a used Aston Martin, but after a few test drives of the Aston I prefered the feel of the Z. The Aston is beautiful bbut is abit more GT than looking for. The Lotus pushed all the right buttons. its not Ferrari fast but great for the B roads and a track day. The Lotus 0-60 and quarter mile are very similar to the Z, but on the G pad the lotus rules even most super cars. |

Congrats on the new ride! Out of all the cars you could have switch to, I'd say you shouldn't have any buyers remorse here. Enjoy the car to the fullest!
