The lotus looks very sharp, what year is and what was the purchase price, it seems the lotus is a british chassis , with a 275hp toyota v6 in it.

Its a new 2011. Sticker just south of $77k, but got the dealer down another $10K.
It does have a Toyota engine. The chassis is bonded aluminium with fiberglass resin body. make the car just over 3000lbs. Lotus has a SC version but cost $12k more. The the standard Evora is pretty rare(500 units in USA) but the SC is supper rare(60 units in USA)

How "big" is the car? I would have thought it would be a lot lighter than a corvette.

The dealer kept calling it a Lexus engine, whatever. the engine is good and delivers plenty of power for me. overall good power to weight

interior pics. and yes, its a 2+2 of course you cannot have legs and have to be under 5 foot tall:rofl2::rofl2:, but will do in a pinch

damn, were you here in the StL

I'm from the Illinois about 20 miles north of St.Louis. purchased the car at ST.Louis Motorsports in Chesterfield Valley.
Right now they have a used Ferrari Italia:eekdance:

way out of my price range, but Lord it is beautiful. originally I was looking for a used Aston Martin, but after a few test drives of the Aston I prefered the feel of the Z. The Aston is beautiful bbut is abit more GT than looking for.
The Lotus pushed all the right buttons. its not Ferrari fast but great for the B roads and a track day. The Lotus 0-60 and quarter mile are very similar to the Z, but on the G pad the lotus rules even most super cars.

Sold my 2009 370Z touring sport today. Funny thing is I miss it. I have had a Nissan since about 2003 with my G356MT coupe adn moved on to the Z last year.
I really liked the Z, but never totally fell in love. Not sure why. I can tell you I loved the G35. By all measures the Z was much better car than the G.
Long story short
While out just cruising stopped by the local Motorsports shop (carries all the high dollar cars) and test drove a Lotus Evora
Ended up leaving with the Keys to the Evora

I wish I could keep both, but as they say "there can be only ONE" well at least for now.
I would like to thank everyone for all the great advice and help on all my Z projects

Initially I thought you were returning to the G35. Lotus instead, wow, what an upgrade. Congratulations.

Congrats on the new ride! Out of all the cars you could have switch to, I'd say you shouldn't have any buyers remorse here. Enjoy the car to the fullest!
