Finally got my 370z, after about 6 months of searching for the right one!
So I had a 350z convertible for a few years. I decided I didn't like the convertible. To many problems with the top and it didn't look as good as the hard top IMO. I've had my eyes on a 370z since I bought the 350 really. In the last 6 months I really started to ramp up my search, checking prices all over the internet nearly everyday. I decided I either wanted a blue or yellow one. I did not want a black interior, either gray or persimmon (sp?). Touring model with sport package was a must and wanted to keep the miles under 20k. Not to mention, I had to get a good price.
Well, I finally bought one. Drove about two hours to the dealership and got this beauty below. It was $26,995, with tax/tag/title ran me about 29k OTD. Touring with Sport package, gray interior. 17k miles, VERY clean. I think I'm in love! The yellow challenger next to mine is my wifes new car. I got home last night and she asked me how much horsepower my Z had. I told her about 332 to which she replied "Ha! Mine has 375!" I never thought my wife would be into cars. |

Congrats. I love the blue. If there wasn't a 40th anniversary, that would be the one I would have bought. Price sounds fair to me. Tell your wife that she needs that extra hp to make up for the weight.. Lol

... but only up to the posted speed limit and within safe driving conditions, of course...

HAHAHA. Color might be irrelevant but as soon as I saw the thread I was expecting a MB 370z =). I am sure it was extremely tough if you were picky on color (like me) to get a good one and used.
The blues are always tough especially if you are like me and have to have blue and have to have manual transmission. My dad also wanted the same on his 2004 350Z. We had to drive all the way up to northern california (like 400 miles away) to get his 350Z as there were only a few in the even remotely near area and even then they were at dealerships which REFUSED to deal at all. I *really* lucked out with my 370z. I found one with the *exact* configuration I wanted and it was in Riverside (20 miles away from me) and like the second closest dealer who was willing to let me have it for a little over invoice which was acceptable to me. Especially because I knew (and they did) there wasn't another MB manual transmission 370z w sports package for another 300 miles. I don't even think there was one without the sports package. Tons of automatic blues for some reason though... |

I must be careful here, I do not want to tell you to beat your wife, just out drive her.

Congrats!!!
The pic shows a true "when East meet West." A nice one. BTW, what problem did you have with the top of the vert? I had mine for 4 yrs and it was almost trouble free. |
