Anyone considered a re-spray?

my friends lexus had a metallic dark purple paint job.. turned out great. But it cost 8k D: +engine bay was not painted I think you guys are under appreciating

But it cost 8k D: +engine bay was not painted I think you guys are under appreciating the factory paint job.. You have to pay well over 5k for a quality, "better than oem", paint job these days.
