clk 350 or 370z
 

Hey guys... new here, but was around the BMW forums for about 2 years. Now i want to get away from that scene and now i want to get a 370z.

Just wondering, is a clk 350 faster or a 370z with sport package?

You mean 0-60 or top speed?

Looks like the 0-60 time for the CLK 350 is 6.4 seconds. It's 4.9 for the 370Z. Top speed is limited to 155 for the CLK - same as the Z.

A 370 will be faster in every way other than possibly computer limited top speed.

who cares, both different cars. get the Z.

My 370Z is faster than my girlfriend's CLK500... And a CLK500 will obliterate a CLK350. :D

Decide what you are really looking for.
Speed = sports car not a luxury/sports like benz. IMO

Mercedes Benz and Speed go hand in hand. Maybe not the CLK350 but the 500/550s are niiice.

my bud said his car was faster than my z and i wanted to prove it to him...

Well FYI no street racing stuff on these boards, take it to the track...

But yeah... a 370 is going to obliterate a CLK350 in a 1/4 mile drag. It won't even be close.

My girlfriend's CLK500 is good for 13.7ish. The Z will run low 13s. I'm guessing a CLK350 falls somewhere in that mid 14 second range.

Haha, yeah, they are pricey. We just spent about 2 grand on some relatively minor repairs that would have probably run $700-800 on a "normal" car. I really can't justify that kind of expense but it's not my car. Still love driving it, though. Everyone seems to think it's slow. :icon18:

Not really..all they do is stuff enormous engines into their cars and rebadge them..I prefer the ///M's..even the black series clk 63 will lose to much cheaper cars, e.g. GT-R, Z06..when I hear Merc...I think more of demographic that buys them...old and boring..I wish they could put some of their racing technologies into their cars..

btw I own a e350 4matic..great daily driver...but pound for pound..my G37 is a better all around car...

Well I really enjoy driving the CLK500. It's fun and has power you wouldn't really expect.
