so you will put a valet tune on your car specifically before you bring it to the dealer so that way they can void your warranty? most people remove tunes before taking the car to the dealer, not install one.

there's no doubt if you don't have the skills to work on your car.
you need to find a dealer you can trust.

i'm lucky where i live where there is 2 nissan dealers within 15 miles from each other. and both are good dealers. high as hell but good. so far
knock on wood............................

So I got another reply from the Service Manager offering to repaint the tire letters that were rubbed off one of my tires and a gas fill up at no charge. Good stuff.

Since the matter has been taken care of, and the dealership has lived up to their good service reputation, minus the one unprofessional tech, I will disclose their name: Koeppel Nissan in Jackson Heights, NY

I will continue to go there, and actually recommend others to go there as well. The thing that changed my mind was their responsiveness towards my emails.

The one that I talk through the forum is Joe Clem (Sales Manager).
When you go in for service, you'll talk to either Lenny or Danny.
Bob Sampogne is the Service Manager. All very nice, professional guys.

I guess it depends what it is going in for. I typically do all the repairs myself.

some dealers will 'update' your ecu as courtesy.... while deleting your tune unknowingly.
